Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and processing workflows using Databricks, Spark, and Python, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance data quality and usability.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows
• Build and optimize batch and streaming data solutions for analytics and reporting
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define data requirements and deliver trusted datasets

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering or data engineering
• 3+ years of hands-on experience building production data pipelines and distributed data processing solutions
• 3+ years of expertise with Databricks, Apache Spark, and Python
• 3+ years of experience designing and maintaining reliable, scalable, and observable data pipelines
