Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a fully remote Senior Data Engineer, this individual contributor role will lead the engineering of scalable data pipelines within a Google Cloud-native ecosystem, collaborating with various teams to ensure high-performance data solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the construction of complex data pipelines and implement SCD methodologies across retail domains
• Manage enterprise-level orchestration and ensure synchronization of data pipelines with organizational workflows
• Act as the primary engineering contact for external teams, optimizing pipelines for Data Science and Data Insight needs

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of Data Engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior role
• Deep proficiency in BigQuery, Google Dataflow, Google Cloud Storage, and Dataform
• Expert-level knowledge of Python and SQL
• Experience with BitBucket, Confluent Kafka, and enterprise orchestration tools
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
