Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Senior Data Engineer to work remotely in a full-time capacity, responsible for building and scaling data pipelines into Snowflake, designing automated systems for data engineering tasks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance data infrastructure for a $750M+ e-commerce platform.

Key responsibilities

• Build and scale reliable data pipelines for ingestion into Snowflake
• Design and implement automated systems for data engineering tasks, including pipeline generation and maintenance
• Collaborate with Analytics Engineers and product teams to deliver end-to-end data solutions and improve data monitoring

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering with a strong focus on production-grade systems
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with Airflow and dbt for data modeling and ETL principles
• Experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and EKS
• Knowledge of Snowflake or similar modern cloud data warehouses
• Experience building production AI/LLM systems and automating repetitive data engineering tasks
