Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

As a hands-on role, the remote Senior Data Engineer will develop and operate reliable, analytics-ready data systems, manage key data pipelines, and mentor engineers while ensuring high production data quality across the organization.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop long-term technical vision and design strategies for scalable applications
• Mentor junior and senior engineers, improving engineering and operational standards
• Create comprehensive documentation to facilitate collaboration within the team

Required qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles
• Strong experience in building and maintaining production data pipelines using Python
• Hands-on experience with batch ELT pipelines and data warehouses
• Advanced SQL skills with experience in data modeling for analytics
• Familiarity with orchestration tools such as Airflow and cloud environments like GCP
