Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance and unify tax and financial services, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and deploy Power BI solutions while optimizing data models and contributing to a cross-functional development team in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Designing and deploying Power BI solutions, creating dashboards and reports for advanced data analytics
• Optimizing reports and dashboards for performance, including data model design and SQL query tuning
• Contributing to data ingestion processes and collaborating with team members on technology development

Required qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in developing BI solutions with Power BI
• Proficient in DAX for complex calculations and Power Query for ETL processes
• Strong coding experience in SQL, preferably with Azure SQL DB or MSSQL
• 2+ years of experience with large backend data processing and analysis systems
• Familiarity with Azure Data Services, including Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics
