Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To influence the technical direction of client projects, the fully remote Senior Data Engineer will define architectural solutions, mentor team members, and optimize data governance while leveraging cloud platforms and advanced ETL/ELT workflows.

Key responsibilities:

• Define and implement architectural solutions for scalable data pipelines, including Medallion Architecture
• Lead the adoption of cloud-native application solutions using managed and serverless offerings
• Drive best practices for data governance, quality, and security across platforms

Required qualifications:

• Mastery of Python and advanced proficiency in SQL; TypeScript/JavaScript/Java is a plus
• Extensive experience in designing CI/CD pipelines and managing Infrastructure as Code
• Deep expertise in ETL/ELT optimization and data security best practices
• Expertise in multiple cloud and data platforms, including AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake, and Databricks
• Proven ability to engage clients and influence technical solutions in a consulting environment
