Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing data engineering team, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design and scale data pipelines for a $750M+ e-commerce business, focusing on automation and reliability while collaborating cross-functionally in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and scale data pipelines for ingestion into Snowflake, ensuring performance and reliability
• Design and implement automated systems for data engineering tasks, including pipeline generation and maintenance
• Collaborate with product, analyst, and ML teams to deliver comprehensive data solutions from ingestion to advanced analytics

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in production-grade data engineering and system architecture
• Proficiency in Python and experience with Airflow and dbt for data modeling and ETL
• Experience managing cloud data resources in AWS, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and EKS
• Familiarity with Snowflake or similar modern cloud data warehouses
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with analysts and data scientists to meet their infrastructure needs
