Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Driving the evolution of a data delivery platform, the full-time remote Senior Data Engineer will architect a next-generation data stack, build proofs-of-concept, and lead a team of data engineers while managing the transition to a flexible, open-source architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and grow a distributed team of data engineers across North America and India
• Build proofs-of-concept to validate new tools and technologies, translating results into actionable recommendations
• Design, build, and optimize robust ETL pipelines to ensure reliable and efficient data movement and transformation

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering/ETL with a strong hands-on background in architecting and building data platforms
• Expert-level SQL and RDBMS skills, particularly in SQL Server and Postgres
• Hands-on experience with modern technologies such as ClickHouse, dbt, and open-source data pipeline tools
• Strong proficiency in AWS as the primary cloud platform
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
