Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer for a full-time remote position, this role focuses on implementing and maintaining an Azure cloud-based data platform, building scalable medallion architecture solutions, and supporting enterprise data initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Implement cloud-based data platforms to enhance manufacturing operations and distribution analytics
• Build and maintain Lakehouse and develop ELT/ETL workflows using Databricks and Azure Data Factory
• Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot issues, and participate in daily support for production incidents

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience with Databricks, including strong Python skills
• Proficiency in Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, and the broader Azure data ecosystem
• Experience with Oracle and SQL Server, including PL/SQL and T-SQL
• Hands-on experience implementing RBAC/ABAC and security measures across data platforms
• Familiarity with Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines
