Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support government clients, the fully remote Senior Data Engineer will design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and cloud-based solutions, leveraging AWS and Snowflake while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop a thorough understanding of business objectives
• Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using AWS and Snowflake tools
• Implement data quality frameworks and operationalize data workflows with monitoring and automated recovery mechanisms

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with ten (10) or more years of experience in a Data System Architect or Engineer role
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake tools, SQL, and Python
• Strong proficiency in AWS services and GitHub for source control
• Knowledge of data integration patterns and modern data architecture
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and understanding of Agile methodologies
