Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Owning data systems end to end, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design ingestion processes, build scalable data pipelines, and deliver insightful analysis while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data ingestion from source systems into BigQuery using Airflow and Python loaders
• Build scalable data pipelines and models to support rapid company growth and ensure reliability
• Collaborate with business teams to translate complex questions into actionable data models and insights

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in building and operating production data pipelines and warehouses
• Proficiency with GCP, BigQuery, dbt, Airflow, Dataflow, and infrastructure as code tools like Pulumi or Terraform
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to perform both engineering and analysis tasks
• Experience integrating AI tools into daily workflows while maintaining human oversight
• Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders and navigate ambiguity in projects
