Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting an industry leader in financial services, the Senior Data Engineer will build scalable backend data platforms in a remote, 6-month contract role focused on delivering high-quality software solutions and maintaining application performance.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, innovative, and maintainable software solutions in an agile environment
• Perform application maintenance and ensure information security controls are in place
• Collaborate with Product and Execution teams to resolve user inquiries and provide timely status updates

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience developing enterprise solutions across multiple technology platforms
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, including data modeling and performance tuning
• Deep experience in ETL/ELT tools like Informatica and Control-M
• Familiarity with backend development in Java/Python using an API-first approach
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
