Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Joining a cross-functional development team, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will build, deploy, and maintain mission-critical analytics solutions that process large-scale data rapidly in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain analytics solutions for processing terabytes of data efficiently
• Contribute to design, coding, and management of data ingestion, real-time streaming, and ETL processes
• Ensure end-to-end solution responsibility through development, QA, and dev-ops roles

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience coding in SQL, Java, Python, or Scala
• 2+ years of experience with production deployments of large backend data processing systems
• 1+ years of hands-on experience with technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka
• 2+ years of experience in cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing design, implementation, and optimization
