Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will build, deploy, and maintain mission-critical analytics solutions while working remotely in the US.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain analytics solutions that process large volumes of data efficiently
• Contribute to design, code, and manage data ingestion and processing across various storage systems
• Perform development, QA, and dev-ops roles to ensure comprehensive solution delivery

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in SQL, Java, Python, or Scala with strong CS fundamentals
• 2+ years of experience with production deployments of large backend data processing systems
• 1+ year of hands-on experience with technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka
• 2+ years of experience in cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of data warehousing, design, implementation, and optimization
