Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support the modernization of our data platform, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design and implement scalable data ingestion pipelines using AWS services, develop APIs for client data ingestion, and contribute to the architecture of a data Lakehouse while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Designs and implements scalable data-ingestion pipelines using AWS services and Azure DevOps
• Builds APIs and file upload mechanisms for client data ingestion
• Contributes to the design and implementation of a data Lakehouse architecture leveraging Databricks

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 7+ years in Data Engineering or a related role
• Strong experience with AWS services for data engineering (S3, Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, API Gateway)
• Proficiency in Python and/or C# .NET for data processing and integration
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server and relational database concepts
