Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting an industry leader in financial services, the remote Senior Data Engineer will build scalable backend data platforms, delivering high-quality software solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a 6-month contract role.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, innovative, and maintainable software solutions in an agile environment
• Perform application maintenance and ensure information security controls
• Collaborate with Product, Execution, and support teams to address user inquiries and provide timely updates

Required qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience developing enterprise solutions across multiple technology platforms
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, including data modeling and performance tuning
• Deep experience in ETL/ELT tools like Informatica and Control-M
• Familiarity with backend development in Java/Python with an API-first approach
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
