Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To shape the future of data infrastructure, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will own the development lifecycle of scalable data solutions, optimize data delivery pipelines, and drive AI adoption, all while working remotely within the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Own the complete solution development lifecycle, from initial requirements to production deployment
• Architect and maintain scalable data solutions and cloud infrastructure, specifically focusing on the custom data lake built on AWS and Snowflake
• Lead cross-departmental data projects, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with business and engineering teams

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data or software engineering with a strong understanding of the full data lifecycle and modern data warehousing
• Proven track record of building scalable data products and pipelines that align with business goals
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and managing AWS cloud environments
• Experience with data orchestration tools like Airflow and transformation tools like dbt
• Strong understanding of data governance principles, including PII management and security practices
