Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a best-in-class analytics function, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design and deploy data infrastructure, implement complex data orchestration models, and serve as the expert on data administration, all in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy data infrastructure for data-driven decision-making solutions
• Implement complex data orchestration models and scale reporting tools for data science and ML products
• Write highly tuned, scalable SQL queries and maintain CDC pipelines for customer reporting

Required qualifications

• At least four years of experience working with data and two years in Software Engineering or a related field
• Experience with analytics tools such as Stitch/Fivetran, Snowflake/BigQuery/Redshift, dbt, and Airflow
• Good working knowledge of AWS data infrastructure systems and Terraform
• Deep knowledge of crafting dimensional and fact models in modern data practices
• Passion for enabling developer experience and a desire to lead in security and compliance management for data warehousing
