Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the development and scaling of core data infrastructure, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, manage data flows in an AWS environment, and ensure data governance and quality in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy scalable ETL/ELT pipelines into Snowflake Data Cloud
• Manage and optimize data flows within an AWS environment for high availability and security
• Collaborate on defining and implementing a Semantic Layer to standardize business logic and metrics

Required qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency in Snowflake or similar Cloud Data Warehouses
• Advanced mastery of dbt and complex SQL transformation logic
• Strong Python skills and experience with Databricks for Spark-based orchestration
• Practical experience managing data workloads within AWS
• Deep understanding of Git-based workflows and CI/CD for data
