Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support the transformation of data-driven insights, the full-time remote Senior Data Engineer will orchestrate, deploy, maintain, and scale cloud or on-premises infrastructure while developing solutions for big data and platform data management.

Key responsibilities

• Develops and maintains infrastructure systems, including data warehouses and data lakes, while preparing and manipulating data using multiple technologies
• Interprets data and executes quantitative analyses to provide actionable insights and decision-making support for key projects
• Creates data collection frameworks for structured and unstructured data and applies best practices for data auditing and performance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or 4 additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
• 5 years of experience with database design, developing modeling tools, and ETL/ELT scripts
• Hands-on experience with application development, relational database layout, and data modeling
• Knowledge of at least one programming language such as SQL, Informatica, or Python
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud stack and data movement concepts is preferred
