Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of D.A. Davidson's flagship Client Access web and mobile applications, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will troubleshoot, expand, and optimize existing data integrations and architecture, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to refactor and migrate legacy structures into cloud-based solutions.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain a compliant application data repository and integration architecture
• Coordinate and oversee the work of third-party engineers through solution design and code reviews
• Identify and implement internal process improvements to optimize data delivery and enhance scalability

Required qualifications:

• 7 or more years of Data Engineering experience in an oversight capacity
• Extensive experience with Microsoft cloud-based technologies in a hybrid architecture
• Expertise in RDBMS with Microsoft SQL Server, including advanced T-SQL and query design
• Experience with API design and implementation for web and mobile applications
• Solid understanding of data modeling, including 3NF normalization and star/snowflake schemas
