Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support innovative marketplace projects, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design and manage data pipelines, collaborate with analysts to develop metrics models, and transform raw data into actionable insights, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and continuously test data pipelines to aggregate data into reports
• Collaborate with the team to create proofs-of-concept and pilot projects that inform business decisions
• Engineer reliable data pipelines for sourcing, processing, and distributing data while monitoring data quality standards

Required qualifications

• Expertise in Python with 5+ years of experience
• Proficient in SQL and NoSQL with 5+ years of experience
• Experience with database technologies including Relational, NoSQL, and MPP for 3+ years
• Familiarity with AWS and cloud data warehousing technologies for 3+ years
• BSc or MS in Computer Science or related technical fields, or equivalent work experience
