Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support enterprise analytics and AI/ML initiatives, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, build, and operationalize scalable data solutions remotely, ensuring compliance with data governance requirements while providing technical leadership and mentoring junior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement end-to-end data solutions using Azure Databricks, PySpark, and Azure SQL
• Drive automation in data integration and develop automated testing frameworks for data jobs
• Lead technical design reviews and collaborate with business stakeholders to align data engineering with organizational objectives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
• 5-8 years of experience designing and developing enterprise-scale data solutions
• Expert-level proficiency in Databricks, Azure Fabric, PySpark, SQL, and Azure DevOps
• Strong experience with Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Azure data management architectures
• Experience with Power BI required; familiarity with Tableau or Looker is a plus
