Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the creation and execution of data models and strategies, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will work remotely to design, develop, and implement data pipelines while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Own data sourcing pipelines by architecting data warehousing and ingestion strategies
• Design and implement ETL solutions, including accessing blockchain nodes and modeling internal schemas
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team in established architectures and designs

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on experience with data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Rust, and/or Typescript, with strong SQL expertise (Parquet, Postgres, Clickhouse)
• Experience building backend systems at scale, focusing on data processing and ingestion
• Familiarity with DevOps tools and cloud solutions such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or GCP
• Experience with modern data orchestration tools like Airflow or Dagster, and SQL transformation frameworks like dbt or SQLMesh
