Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing healthcare initiative, the remote Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines while managing data ingestion, transformation, and production support.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure data pipelines and architectures
• Create, optimize, and execute complex SQL queries for data management and validation
• Collaborate with product owners, analysts, and software engineers to deliver data solutions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering and hands-on SQL/PL-SQL
• Strong healthcare domain experience, particularly with Medical and Pharmacy Claims
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or Neo4j
• Knowledge of cloud and big data technologies including Databricks, AWS, Azure, Spark, Hadoop, and Snowflake
