Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a centralized Data Services organization, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, build, and deliver scalable data models using dbt Core, Snowflake, SQL, and Python, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance analytics and reporting capabilities in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Owning the design and development of robust dbt Core models that transform raw data into analytics-ready datasets
• Architecting scalable data models that support enterprise reporting, analytics, and AI use cases
• Leading technical design discussions and mentoring other engineers in data transformation practices

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Advanced SQL skills with hands-on experience using dbt Core for data transformation
• Strong expertise with Snowflake or a similar modern cloud data platform
• Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and performance tuning
