Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To build and scale data infrastructure for a leading fashion resale marketplace, the full-time remote Senior Data Engineer will own the reliability and accuracy of data systems, develop data pipelines using modern tools, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable data solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the reliability, availability, and compliance of the data infrastructure while improving data pipelines
• Build and maintain centralized data models and a semantic layer for broader business use
• Partner with various stakeholders to translate business needs into effective data solutions and establish data governance standards

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience with a strong foundation in software and data engineering
• Proficiency in tools such as Snowflake, DBT, Airflow, and experience with Python and SQL
• Deep experience in building and maintaining end-to-end data pipelines
• Experience with API development and integration
• Ability to drive projects from scoping through delivery while managing ambiguity
