Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Championing engineering excellence, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will take ownership of core infrastructure and develop scalable data solutions while working remotely to enhance the company's data ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Own the complete solution development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to building Proof of Concepts and Minimum Viable Products
• Architect and maintain efficient, cost-effective data solutions and cloud infrastructure, evolving the custom data lake built on AWS and Snowflake
• Lead cross-departmental data projects, driving collaboration and strategic communication with business and engineering teams

Required qualifications

• 5+ years in a data or software engineering role with expertise in the full data lifecycle and modern data warehousing
• Proven experience in building scalable data products and pipelines that align with business goals
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and designing AWS cloud environments
• Hands-on experience with Airflow for orchestration and dbt for transformation
• Strong understanding of data governance principles, including automated data classification and PII masking
