Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support the modernization of its core platform, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for solving complex data challenges, building scalable data pipelines, and ensuring the quality and reliability of data systems in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain data platforms, ensuring standards for availability, reliability, and security
• Design and develop scalable and maintainable data pipelines while collaborating with other Data Engineers
• Monitor data systems and performance, researching industry trends to optimize costs and efficiency

Required qualifications

• Strong experience with Azure Cloud services, including Azure Synapse and Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2
• Proven ability to design and build scalable ELT pipelines and data warehouse solutions using tools like Snowflake and Airflow
• Deep expertise in Python and SQL, along with strong proficiency in C#
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and CI/CD best practices
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
