Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a cloud-based enterprise data platform initiative, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, develop analytics solutions using Snowflake and Power BI, and optimize data warehouse performance while working remotely on a contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data ingestion processes
• Create and optimize Power BI dashboards and semantic models for reporting solutions
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries across Snowflake and PostgreSQL environments

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of Data Engineering experience
• 3+ years of experience with Snowflake in production environments
• 3+ years of Power BI development experience
• Expert-level SQL development and optimization skills
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL and PL/pgSQL
