Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Driving innovation and technical leadership, the full-time remote Senior Data Engineer will analyze customer requirements, design complex data solutions, and mentor engineering teams while collaborating across multiple departments.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and translate high-level customer requirements into detailed designs for complex business problems
• Partner with engineering teams to create and manage a long-term data architecture and execution roadmap
• Lead code reviews and proactively identify performance issues, providing effective solutions in production

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in developing and implementing commercial software across various platforms
• Experience with large-scale data sets and relational/non-relational data storage technologies
• Proficiency in data acquisition, curation, and analysis, along with testing practices
• Experience with CI/CD practices and cloud-native platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience
