Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Excited to design data products and AI-powered applications, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will work remotely, primarily focusing on building advanced data pipelines, evolving analytical data models, and providing leadership in data engineering practices.

Key responsibilities

• Build advanced data pipelines using the Medallion Architecture in Snowflake and leverage AI-assisted development tools
• Design and evolve analytical data models while partnering with Analytics and Data Science teams to translate business needs into data assets
• Serve as a primary advisor to the Data Management team and mentor junior engineers on programming best practices and query optimization

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• 4-5 years of practical production work in Data Engineering
• Expertise in Python, Snowflake, and SQL, including query optimization
• Experience with a large cloud provider such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Ability to construct reliable data pipelines and mentor junior engineers
