Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

Excited to design data products and AI-powered applications, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will work remotely, focusing on building advanced data pipelines and data applications using Snowflake and AWS technologies while collaborating with analytics and data science teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build advanced data pipelines using the Medallion Architecture in Snowflake and leverage AI-assisted development tools
• Design analytical data models and translate complex business questions into structured data assets in collaboration with analytics teams
• Serve as an advisor to the Data Management team, mentoring junior engineers and leading technical improvements and automation efforts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• 4-5 years of practical production work in Data Engineering
• Expertise in Python, Snowflake, SQL, and query optimization
• Experience with a large cloud provider such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Ability to construct reliable data pipelines and mentor junior engineers on best practices
