Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing software consultancy, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Snowflake in a remote environment across Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring efficient data ingestion and transformation processes
• Utilize Snowflake to optimize cloud data solutions and manage data architecture
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data models and support data governance initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience with end-to-end data pipelines and advanced SQL development
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including performance optimization and data modeling techniques
• Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure
• Experience managing source code and CI/CD pipelines using Git and Azure DevOps
