Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing software consultancy, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Snowflake while working remotely in Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines and data solutions using Python, Snowflake, and cloud-native technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create logical and physical data models aligned with business goals and implement data governance initiatives
• Monitor and optimize Snowflake workloads and ETL processes to ensure performance and cost efficiency while maintaining comprehensive documentation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience developing end-to-end data pipelines and hands-on proficiency with Snowflake's architecture and features
• Advanced SQL development skills with the ability to write complex queries and optimize large-scale workloads
• Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure, and experience managing CI/CD pipelines using Git
• Experience with dimensional modeling techniques and data integration best practices
