Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing software consultancy, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design and maintain scalable ETL pipelines using Python and Snowflake, while working remotely from Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring efficient data ingestion and transformation processes
• Utilize Snowflake's architecture to build and optimize cloud data solutions, implementing and managing various Snowflake objects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create logical and physical data models that align with business objectives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience developing end-to-end data pipelines and proficiency in Snowflake, including performance optimization
• Advanced SQL development skills with the ability to write complex queries and optimize large-scale workloads
• Experience with dimensional modeling techniques, such as star schemas and fact tables
• Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure, and managing CI/CD pipelines using Git
