Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing software consultancy, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Snowflake while working remotely in Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines and data solutions using Snowflake and cloud-native technologies
• Implement and manage Snowflake objects and ensure data quality, governance, and security compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create data models and support integration with cloud services

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in developing end-to-end data pipelines and advanced proficiency in Snowflake
• Strong SQL development skills with the ability to optimize large-scale workloads
• Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure
• Experience with dimensional modeling techniques and data integration best practices
