Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Snowflake in a remote environment, focusing on data integration and cloud architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python (PySpark) and Snowflake
• Utilize Snowflake's architecture to build and optimize modern cloud data solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and implement logical and physical data models aligned with business goals

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Proven experience developing end-to-end data pipelines and working with Snowflake
• Advanced SQL development skills with the ability to write complex queries and optimize workloads
• Experience with dimensional modeling techniques (star schemas, fact tables, dimension tables)
• Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure
