Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing software consultancy, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Snowflake while working remotely from Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and manage Snowflake data platform architecture
• Extract and ingest data from various sources, collaborating with data architects to create data models
• Monitor and optimize data processes, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance with governance standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in developing end-to-end data pipelines and proficiency with Snowflake
• Advanced SQL development skills and experience with dimensional modeling techniques
• Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure
• Experience managing source code and CI/CD pipelines using Git and Azure DevOps
