Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing software consultancy, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Snowflake while working remotely from Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and loading processes
• Utilize Snowflake's architecture to build and optimize cloud data solutions and manage Snowflake objects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create logical and physical data models aligned with business objectives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience developing end-to-end data pipelines and advanced SQL development skills
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including performance optimization and data modeling techniques
• Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure
• Experience managing source code and CI/CD pipelines using Git and Azure DevOps or similar tools
