Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing software consultancy, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Snowflake while working remotely from Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data ingestion processes using Python and Snowflake
• Utilize Snowflake's architecture to build and optimize cloud data solutions, ensuring performance and cost efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create logical and physical data models aligned with business goals

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience developing end-to-end data pipelines and working with REST APIs, relational databases, and cloud storage
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including performance optimization and data sharing
• Advanced SQL development skills with the ability to write complex queries and optimize large-scale workloads
• Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure, and managing CI/CD pipelines using Git
