Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing software consultancy, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Snowflake in a remote environment across Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and manage Snowflake data solutions
• Extract and ingest structured and semi-structured data from various sources while collaborating with data architects
• Monitor and optimize data workloads and ensure adherence to data governance and quality standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience developing end-to-end data pipelines and proficiency in Snowflake
• Advanced SQL development skills with experience in dimensional modeling techniques
• Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure
• Experience managing source code and CI/CD pipelines using Git and Azure DevOps
