Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing software consultancy, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Snowflake in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring efficient data ingestion and transformation processes
• Utilize Snowflake architecture to optimize cloud data solutions, including managing Snowflake objects and applying dimensional modeling techniques
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create logical and physical data models aligned with business goals while enforcing data engineering standards and best practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience developing end-to-end data pipelines and working with Snowflake, including advanced SQL development skills
• Hands-on experience with cloud-based data ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure
• Familiarity with managing source code and CI/CD pipelines using Git and Azure DevOps
• Experience with dimensional modeling techniques and data integration best practices
