Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing software consultancy, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Snowflake in a remote environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize data solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring efficient data ingestion and transformation processes
• Utilize Snowflake's architecture to build and optimize cloud data solutions, including managing Snowflake objects
• Collaborate with data architects and stakeholders to create data models and enforce data engineering standards

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience in developing end-to-end data pipelines and proficiency in Python and Snowflake
• Advanced SQL development skills with experience in performance tuning and optimization
• Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure
• Experience with dimensional modeling techniques and data integration best practices
