Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing software consultancy, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Snowflake while working remotely from Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data ingestion processes using Python and Snowflake
• Utilize Snowflake's architecture to optimize cloud data solutions and manage data warehousing objects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop logical and physical data models aligned with business goals

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in developing end-to-end data pipelines and proficiency with Snowflake
• Advanced SQL development skills with the ability to optimize large-scale workloads
• Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure
• Experience with dimensional modeling techniques, such as star schemas and fact tables
