Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

The full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Snowflake in a remote environment, contributing to the creation of modern cloud data solutions and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring efficient data ingestion and transformation processes
• Utilize Snowflake's architecture to build and optimize cloud data solutions, including managing databases, schemas, and data models
• Implement data quality controls and governance initiatives while collaborating with stakeholders to align data models with business goals

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience with end-to-end data pipelines and advanced SQL development skills
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including performance optimization and data modeling techniques
• Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure
• Experience managing source code and CI/CD pipelines using Git and Azure DevOps or similar tools
