Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing software consultancy, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Snowflake, while working remotely from Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines utilizing Python (PySpark) and Snowflake
• Implement and manage Snowflake objects and optimize cloud data solutions for performance and cost efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create logical and physical data models aligned with business goals

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in developing end-to-end data pipelines and working with Snowflake
• Advanced SQL development skills with the ability to write complex queries and optimize workloads
• Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure
• Experience with dimensional modeling techniques and data integration best practices
