Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing software consultancy, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Snowflake in a remote environment across Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring efficient data ingestion and transformation processes
• Utilize Snowflake's architecture to build and optimize cloud data solutions, implementing best practices for data modeling and governance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create data models and support integration with cloud-native services

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in developing end-to-end data pipelines and proficiency with Snowflake
• Advanced SQL development skills and experience with dimensional modeling techniques
• Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure
• Experience managing source code and CI/CD pipelines using Git and Azure DevOps
