Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing software consultancy, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Snowflake in a remote environment, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance data integration and modeling.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines utilizing Python (PySpark) and Snowflake
• Implement and manage Snowflake objects and optimize cloud data solutions for performance and cost efficiency
• Collaborate with stakeholders to create logical and physical data models aligned with business goals

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience in developing end-to-end data pipelines and advanced SQL development skills
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including performance optimization and data modeling techniques
• Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure, and CI/CD practices
• Knowledge of data integration best practices and data governance standards
