Senior Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing software consultancy, the full-time Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Snowflake, while working remotely in Latin America.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines and data solutions using Snowflake and cloud-native technologies
• Collaborate with data architects and stakeholders to create logical and physical data models that align with business goals
• Implement data quality controls, monitoring processes, and ensure data governance and security compliance

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Proven experience developing end-to-end data pipelines and hands-on proficiency with Snowflake
• Advanced SQL development skills with the ability to write complex queries and optimize performance
• Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems, particularly Microsoft Azure
• Experience with dimensional modeling techniques and data integration best practices
